Welcome to the City of Sunderland Opportunities for Professional Development in Physical Education and Sport for September 2010 to July 2011

The courses are either free or at a reduced price to all primary and secondary teachers, and ASLs (Adults Supporting Learning  - volunteers, coaches, teaching assistants) within the City of Sunderland. Those teachers and ASLs outside of Sunderland will be charged a nominal fee. Where there is a fee indicated, cheques should be made payable to “Biddick School”. As well as the main CPD menu shown in the directory, schools and clusters of schools can apply to have tailored PE in service to suit their needs at times convenient to them throughout the next academic year. For further details, schools should contact Ron Thornton or Jamie Houghton.

In order to try and avoid cancellations of courses this year, the modules have been made available to a wider audience with the hope of attracting more delegates. This year wherever possible, modules will run with minimum numbers. In the event of cancellation, ALL fees paid will be returned and delegates notified 2 weeks prior the course date.
