The School Sport Partnerships have worked together to provide over £60000 towards coaching programmes across the city. The aim is to provide opportunities for young people to develop within a sport and have opportunities to sustain their participation.
Our coaching opportunities often provide opportunities for competition across the city and also helps to provide opportunites for leaders to gain valuable experience working alongside qualified coaches.
Each coach that we employ has to hold a relevant UKCC Level 2 qualification together with up to date CRB status. We also provide on going CPD for all our coavhes to make sure they can provide the best service possible for our young people. They are fully training in including all levels of ability and disability and provide progressive structured sessions that are of proven quality.

To try and appeal to all age ranges and abilities we have conducted surveys with the young people of Sunderland to plan activities for all tastes. These have resulted in skipping workshops for KS1 to cycling at KS3/4. For information on all of our current projects please feel to browse the pages within this section.
If you are simply looking for a coach, all of our recommended contacts are listed in the contact section.
